GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANT

TIRANA ALBANIA

We are a US-based marketing company currently expanding into Albania. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graphic Design Assistant based in Tirana.

The successful candidate will assist our Albanian-based company’s Director with updating pre-existing digital assets for marketing, print, and social media for primarily US based clients. This role also involves a variety of secondary tasks including content management, data entry and record management, and some light website maintenance. This is an entry-level position, however the opportunity to grow as a designer and promote within the organization is certainly available.

Initial and ongoing training opportunities will be offered. Your salary will be determined based on your level of experience.

The position is full-time and is based at our new office location in Tirana (Bllok, Rruga Abdyl Frashëri, near Vesa Center).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and modify pre-made design assets for print and digital media.
  • Assist in the management of digital content and asset libraries.
  • Assist in the oversight and management of multiple social media presences (for clients).
  • Perform various data entry tasks related to marketing efforts or design projects.
  • Assist with basic website maintenance and updates (no code experience required).

Qualifications:

  • High level of English language comprehension (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design (agency or freelance is ok).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop as a minimum).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • You must understand how to use Windows and have a solid grasp of file folder structure/organization.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive and cloud-based storage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or light coding ability is a BIG plus but not required.

* We are a professional design and marketing firm and do not consider Canva as relevant experience for this position. Applicants must have experience working with Photoshop (at a minimum) to be considered.
